About Homemade

HomeMade is a Markham, ON Canada based craft platform delivering on-air television segments, video classes & supplies to audiences worldwide.  The aim is to teach & inspire creativity at home.  The ideal candidate is a former professional who is tired of the corporate grind, a self-starter who would like to use her pro skills but still have a balanced life by working predominantly school hours…. (like 10am-2pm or something flexible like that.) We love passion, new ideas and a commitment to helping move the business forward.

What You Will Do:

  • Experienced in the launch or maintenance of a subscription box or equivalent recurring product fulfillment program.
  • Work closely with Homemade team members to determine events, content, projects, and schedule
  • Sourcing and ordering of products for events from local and international suppliers
  • Oversee timely delivery of shipments for events
  • Create promotional materials for events
  • Manage printing and receiving of promotional materials
  • Development and execution of project event & subscription kits
  • Coordinate and schedule event packing team, set-up and flow of packing location
  • Participation in weekly team meetings and remaining informed of the Homemade calendar
  • Cleaning, organization, and maintenance of workplace
  • Pick up of project and office supplies within the GTA
  • On occasion delivery & pick up of products within the GTA
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

**This will be a part-time 6 month contract position, with the potential to move to full-time hours as the development of the position warrants**

Who We Want:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience as a subscription box/Event coordinator or equivalent role
  • Interest in creative arts (sewing and crafts) is an asset
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace(Gmail, Google Sheets, Drive, Forms etc.) and Canva is required
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator is an asset
  • Strong work ethic and passion
  • Self-starter, takes initiative, resourceful and problem solver
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Exceptional phone and email etiquette
  • Great organizational skills
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Required to work on-site
  • Bilingual in English & French an asset
  • Valid driver’s license & willingness to drive on occasion.
