Your box of supplies is valued at $575 and will be delivered to you via courier approximately 4 weeks prior to the event. Once all boxes have been delivered we will schedule a LIVE box opening.  If you want to peek early you can or join your fellow sewers around the world and dive into your box together LIVE with Jen as she unpacks all the goodies with you!

Minki Kim

Minki Kim, Sewing Illustration

Minki Kim is a fabric designer for Riley Blake Designs and pattern designer with her own whimsical style. As a formally trained sculptor and self-taught sewist, designing fabrics and creating art with fabric and thread were natural steps as an artist.

Minki discovered sewing as a creative outlet when her children were small. She wanted to capture the beauty of ordinary moments, first with hand embroidery and later recreating them with her sewing machine and fabric – literally drawing with thread. Capturing ordinary moments in beautiful sewing illustrations to make keepsake snapshots of daily life has become her signature style.

I’m a modern quilter with a passion for bright colours, bold designs, happy stripes and fresh florals. I have a background in Environmental Science and Education and yet my creative career has taken me on a whole other journey. For the last 10 years I have immersed myself in creating quilts and buying all the pretty fabrics to grow my business Fabric Heart.( www.fabricheart.com )
